P – Permanent Sign

Room labeling sign that is ADA Compliant and
thermoformed with raised copy/text and Grade II Braille.

P1 – Permanent Sign

Room labeling sign that requires additional raised informational sub copy/text. Signs are thermoformed ADA compliant with raised copy/text and Grade II Braille.

P2 – Permanent Sign

Room labeling sign with an In-Use/Vacant (or similar two message) slider. Signs are Thermoformed and ADA Compliant with Grade II Braille.

P3 – Permanent Sign

Room/Office labeling sign with space for name insert. Signs are thermoformed and ADA compliant with copy/text and Grade II Braille.

S – Symbol Sign

Room sign that requires a symbol or pictogram such as a restroom that depicts gender and handicap accessibility. Signs are thermoformed and ADA compliant with raised copy/text and Grade II Braille.

I – Information Signs

Area signs or informational signage that is not ADA compliant. These signs are generally used to communicate important code compliant information.

A – Aluminum Signs

Exterior door signs that do not require raised copy and Braille and will resist degradation from exterior elements.

IS – Internal Stairwell Signs

Stairwells that serve 3 floors or more require IS signage. They are installed inside the stairwell at each floor landing. They must include the stair number, floor level, the number of flights down to exit, roof or no roof access. Signs are thermoformed and ADA compliant with Grade II Braille.

U – Unit/Room Number Signs

Smaller room signs that have room numbers such as hotel rooms or patient rooms. Signs are thermoformed and ADA compliant with raised copy/text and Grade II Braille.

C – Ceiling Sign

A non-ADA sign used to mark areas without walls or doors such as department or recovery bay.

T – Triangle Projection sign
BW – Bladewall
BC – Bladeceiling

A double faced non-ADA sign mounted to a wall intended to be viewed from a distance in a hallway or corridor. They are typically used to mark restrooms, department entrances and check-in desks.

V – Vinyl

A non-ADA sign that is typically used on glass and metal door to display company brand, hours of operation and state and federal information.

WD – Directional Sign

A non-ADA wall mounted sign that is placed strategically at decision points to help direct visitors to their desired destination.

OHD – Overhead Directional Sign

A non-ADA sign mounted overhead, placed strategically at decision points to help direct visitors to their desired destination.
